Sources for Cottage Lake Neighbors
Start with geometry, not a ZIP or neighborhood name. A parcel map shows which lots meet the subject parcel. The assessor gives owner-of-record and land facts, while the district report supplies jurisdiction and service geography. Public voter tools have narrower purposes and fields. No official Cottage Lake association roster was found, so community pages must never substitute for county boundaries.
| Source | What It Shows About a Block | Access |
|---|---|---|
| King County iMap | Parcel outlines, roads, aerials, political and natural-resource layers | Free map; click lots one at a time |
| Parcel Viewer and eReal | PIN, geometry, owner-of-record, legal description, sale leads | Free county portals |
| District report | ZIP, jurisdiction, voting, school, fire, watershed and drainage fields | Linked from a selected parcel |
| My Voter Information | One authorized person's status and districts after a three-field match | Restricted official lookup |
| Regional directories | Past names by road or reverse address when covered | Library and archive access |
An assessment owner may live elsewhere, and an occupant may never appear on the parcel account. Record what each source proves. Do not turn an owner name into a claim about a whole household.
Cottage Lake Neighbor Map Tools
King County iMap accepts an address, PIN, intersection joined with an ampersand, or a place name. Red parcel outlines become useful after zooming in. Click each lot for its popup. More than 100 layers cover property, planning, political boundaries, natural resources, flood context, roads, and aerial imagery.
No official one-click adjacent-parcel buffer was found. Enhanced Search can select map features, but it should not be described as an exhaustive neighbor tool. Roads, streams, rights-of-way, and odd parcel shapes can break what appears to be a simple row of homes. Save the map date, scale, layer names, and each PIN.
Note: Visual closeness is not legal adjacency; confirm every shared edge at a useful scale.
Cottage Lake Parcel Viewer
The King County Parcel Viewer accepts an address or parcel number and lets the user select land on the map. The selected parcel links to Property Detail and Districts and Development Conditions.
The official viewer shown below demonstrates the safe starting screen without publishing a private neighbor's result.

Open the live viewer for the current boundary and report. Copy the PIN rather than relying on a postal city label.
Map a Cottage Lake Block
The parcel-first method defines the immediate block from one known address. It avoids assuming that every home with the same ZIP, road name, or community label is physically adjacent.
- Locate the starting address or PIN in Parcel Viewer or iMap.
- Zoom until parcel edges, roads, and address labels are clear.
- Click every parcel that shares an edge, one at a time, and save its PIN.
- Open eReal Property and the district report for each selected parcel.
- Mark roads, water, rights-of-way, and irregular shapes that limit adjacency.
Compare owner names only after the geometry is fixed. For a whole named road rather than the nearby lots, switch to the Cottage Lake street directory.
Cottage Lake Neighbors Across Districts
One sampled Cottage Lake parcel report showed King County jurisdiction, ZIP 98072, Cottage Lake voting district, King County Council District 3, congressional district 8, legislative district 45, Northshore School District 417, and Woodinville Fire and Rescue. Those fields show why a city label cannot define the block.
Run the report for each neighboring parcel. Compare jurisdiction, ZIP, watershed, drainage, voting, school, fire, and road service. A boundary can pass between nearby parcels. The Cottage Lake critical lake watershed also carries a county phosphorus-loading rule for new development or redevelopment, which can produce different permit trails near the lake.
Cottage Lake Neighbor Voter Limits
My Voter Information requires any three of four values: first name, last name, birth date, and house number. It is meant to return registration, ballot, district, voting-place, and tracking details for a matched voter. It is not a block browser.
Washington law limits public voter fields and restricts use of voter lists under RCW 29A.08.710, .720, and .740. The district report may identify the voting district of land without revealing a person. Use that geographic fact when the goal is civic context. Never publish protected birth dates or agency data.
Cottage Lake Community Sources
No official Cottage Lake neighborhood-association directory was located. That negative finding matters. An HOA or civic roster may cover only members, and a group's chosen boundary may not match a parcel, ZIP, voting district, or CDP line.
Woodinville Heritage Society
Local history and museum collections can supply place, school, farm, photo, and family context. No public all-name index is offered.
Woodinville Library
The nearby KCLS branch provides research access and genealogy resources. Bellevue holds Woodinville Weekly microfilm for July 1978 through December 1989.
Government pages
Woodinville sources apply only after a parcel check places the matter within city jurisdiction.
The official Woodinville page captured below is a jurisdiction checkpoint, not an association roster.

The image reinforces the gap: identify a parcel and named group before using community boundaries. The Heritage Society and KCLS add memory, not proof of a current occupant.
Cottage Lake Neighbor Record Choices
Official sources and commercial neighbor tools answer different questions. The official route takes more steps but identifies custody, date, and field limits. Commercial profiles may blend stale or unrelated facts and should never replace a parcel or agency record.
| Source type | Strength | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| County parcel and GIS records | Dated land, owner, boundary, and district facts | Owner is not always occupant |
| Voter and directory records | Authorized current status or dated historic household lead | Restricted fields and incomplete coverage |
| Commercial profile category | May suggest a name variant | Unknown sourcing, stale merges, and no official proof |
For safety, keep a citation and check date beside each official fact. Treat every name-only match as a lead until a second independent clue agrees.
Historic Cottage Lake Neighbors
Regional city directories, county deeds, school censuses, voter registers, and newspapers can rebuild a past block. Reverse address listings begin in SPL's physical directory series in 1938, while its digital regional selection spans 1867 through 1940. No dedicated Cottage Lake directory run was found.
Old records may use Woodinville, Bothell, Redmond, a rural route, or an earlier road name. The 2003 creation of ZIP 98077 from 98072 can also change the printed address without changing the household. Match each old neighbor to a legal description, dated route, school district, occupation, or newspaper clue before accepting the identity.
Protect Cottage Lake Neighbors
Public land records do not expose every occupant. Court files can be sealed, voter data has protected fields, and the Washington Address Confidentiality Program gives eligible people a substitute address. Records created before enrollment are not automatically erased, but an actual protected address is available only through narrow legal processes.
Do not infer household members, private contact details, or daily routines from a parcel. Keep sensitive fields out of notes and screenshots. An index provides a route to a record, not permission to republish everything it contains.
Lawful use. Use Cottage Lake neighbor records for civic awareness, local history, or reconnecting. Never use them to watch, threaten, harass, or harm anyone.
